Elliott Danker first entered the media industry in Singapore in early 2006 when he started his radio career as a newscaster.  In July 2006 he was tasked to be part of the revamped Morning Show with radio veterans Joe Augustin & Petrina Kow for 2 years.
 
In 2008, he moved to SAFRA Radio where he was part of Power 98FM. There, he helmed the stations’ Morning and Lunchtime shows over a period of 2 years. He was also nicknamed “The Ryan Seacrest of Singapore” by his listeners.
 
In 2010, CLEO Magazine Singapore listed Danker as one of the years’ 50 most eligible bachelors.
 
By early 2011, Danker went on to make his first TV appearance as a regular cast member of the award winning Mandarin talkshow “It’s a Small World” hosted by Mark Lee on Mediacorp Channel 8.
 
The multi-talented artiste also writes for magazines like Football Weekly, Cosmopolitan Singapore and is the Co-Founder of POPCulture Online, a monthly Web-Magazine. He also ventured into fashion in Nov 2010 with the launch of his own eco-label – ED-08.
 
As a voice over, Elliott has lent his voice to many brands including Audi, Calvin Klein, Nescafe, Lee Jeans, Sony Ericsson and Nokia.
 
Elliott has also hosted The Courts, Young Lions, Magazine TV Show and Slingers TV, the official highlights program for the Singapore Slingers. He has also been an ambassador for Canon IXUS.

So it's an end of an era when Sir Alex Ferguson takes charge of Manchester United for the last time at their away game to WBA this weekend. As of this morning, the team has already had it's victory parade in Manchester with the final home game speech of Sir Alex still echoing in the hearts of many.

Good English Sticks

This can only be described as an honour, to be one of the ambassadors of the Speak Good English Movement 2012.
The motto this year is Make Good English Stick. I’m gonna be the first to admit that I’m not that good at the language and of course I’m prone to messing up my grammar or spelling even. But I think that’s the whole point, that you should keep practicing and trying to stick to speaking good English. The key is to keep trying!

Sensation Korea

After weeks of waiting, it was time for the party experience of a lifetime! This marks the first time that the Heineken Sensation experience arrives in Asia and it kicked off in Seoul South Korea to a crowd of about 18,000 people all dressed in an Ocean of White.
Thanks to the folks at Asia Pacific Breweries and Heineken, Power 98FM was able to send a lucky winner and her friend to Sensation Korea.

Ok, I'm about to share with you details on where much of my salary goes to. Haha! The truth is I love collecting toys and every few months I order one of these movie replicas from distributor Hot Toys.
Basically this company has the license to sculpt and sell movie accurate replicas from big hollywood blockbusters.
