Shareen Wong began her love affair with radio in 1997 hosting ‘Pillow talk with Shareen’ one of the highest rated night shows on Power 98FM. In 2003 she took on the role of Program Manager, and went on to become AVP of Programming for both Power 98FM & Mandarin station 883JIA FM, helming a makeover for the Chinese station that took it from 16th to 8th most popular station in Singapore.
 
Shareen was voted ‘New Voice Of The Year by readers’ of The New Paper and has been featured in numerous publications including FHM, CLEO and ELLE. She is also a seasoned host with over twelve years of experience in both on-air and on-site hosting, having hosted events such as the launch of Broadcast & Communique Asia, NS 40 Anniversary Dinner with GOH Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong & many more. She has also interviewed countless celebrities such as Kylie Minogue, Coldplay, Radiohead, Blur, Keane and more.
 
After a sabbatical in 2008, where she embarked on a round the world journey to 15 different cities in 2 months, she returned to helm the morning show with Joe Augustin & Hossan Leong before starting up her own retail store- Kai Life selling home accessories & jewellery. She has since grown the store from 1 to 3 stores in under 4 years and loves travelling to source for great new ideas for the shops! She also added television hosting to her list of achievements, as a presenter on the Carlsberg Euro2008 Preview Show on Starhub.
 
She recently made a comeback to her first love – radio when she was asked to join Power98FM as a Programme Consultant. As someone who never says no to a challenge, she’s engineered a revamp for a station that is now into its’ 18th year. Promising a whole new exciting look, feel & sound!
