Here're the reunited buddies so far...

LIFELONG BUDDIES #1 IVAN & KAI WEE   Ivan & Kai Wee first met in BMTC when they were both part of the 'SARS' platoon.  They were assigned to adjoining beds and paired up as buddies.  Many BMT adventures later, they went their separate ways (Ivan to OCS and Kai Wee to SISPEC) but their paths crossed briefly again in School of Artillery when they were both posted to Artillery.  After that chance meeting, they had lost contact with each other until Lifelong Buddies.

LIFELONG BUDDIES #2 DARYL & RONALD   Daryl & Ronald first met in BMTC when they were both enlisted into the same platoon.  They were assigned as buddies and shared many hilarious experiences through their 5 months together in BMT.  They were posted to different units after BMT and had only met up once for a makan session while still in NS.  Somehow, they lost contact and it has been 5 years till Lifelong Buddies reunited them.

LIFELONG BUDDIES #3 VINCENT & HADI   Vincent & Hadi were in the Commandos together.  Hadi held the rank of 3rd Sergeant and Vincent was a Corporal.  Vincent’s most memorable moment with Hadi was in Brunei having their last exercise before becoming operational Commando fighters.  Hadi got injured yet joined in the final assault and inspired Vincent and the team to success!  After ORD, the two lost contact over time and it has been 14 years since Lifelong Buddies reunited them!

LIFELONG BUDDIES #4 CHUN BENG & EDWIN   Chun Beng and Edwin were in 3 DISCOM, 3 Division Support Command, Jurong Camp, for their National Service back in 1991-92.  They were in the Signal Platoon of 3 DISCOM and Edwin was a clerk there while Chun Beng was the Line Sergeant.  Chun Beng admits he was rather blur at that time, was making a lot of mistakes and was using more of his physique than brain.  Fortunately, Edwin was there to help him out with the administrative and operations work.  Edwin became Chun Beng’s consultant and advisor.  Whenever Chun Beng was not sure of anything, Edwin would be the first person he’ll look for.  They lost contact after ORD and it’s been about 15 years since Chun Beng finally found back his old buddy thanks to Lifelong Buddies!

LIFELONG BUDDIES #5 NIZAL & ALVIN   Nizal and Alvin were enlisted into BMTC School 1 Bravo Company back in year 1999/2000.  It’s been almost 5 years since they last met and Nizal’s wondering what’s happening with Alvin and would like to find back his old BMT Buddy.  The amazing thing about this pair of buddies is they share the same date of birth!  Their IC Nos. are just a digit apart and they believe they were probably born in the same hospital in the same labour ward!  The search continues...
