Michael’s love affair with radio began when he inherited his first hi-fi set at the age of 13. Tuning in to Power 98FM and making his first radio dedication later that night, Michael then made a promise to himself that he’d grow up to make everyone feel just as special as he did.
Armed with a mass communication major, Michael began his radio career with Radio Singapore International (RSI)– producing and presenting news and current affairs programmes for the nation’s only international radio station modeled after the UK’s BBC network. He also produced programmes and hosted a current affairs talk show on RSI’s compatriot station 93.8 Live. Answering a heartfelt call to join the world of music and entertainment, Michael then joined Power 98FM as a DJ – co-hosting the evening drive-time slot for a short time before helming a Saturday show while pursuing his studies.
Deciding to take a break so he could do a 360 and try something completely different, Michael took the skies as a flight steward with Singapore Airlines. His travels took him across major continents – where he got to speak different languages, meet people of every race and background and learn what it means to be kind and decent in a world shared by 6 billion people.
But globe-trotting adventures only go so far – and it wasn’t long before Michael realized that the only thing that would make him happy would be a long-awaited return to his one true love – radio. When he’s not busy with real life, Michael enjoys shooting the breeze with his best friends, racking up honour kills in World of Warcraft and playing in his little corner of the sandbox.
At 22, Kimberly Anne Tan already has over 7 years of hosting experience under her belt. After coming in 3rd place in a prestigious national radio competition at the age of 18, Kim’s radio career kicked off as the youngest on-air talent at her previous station. Within the span of a few years, her drive, natural knack for public speaking landed her a spot on one of the country’s most popular English morning shows, all before stepping into University.
Even during her university days, Kim continued to fuel her passion for radio and hosting – she is the proud winner of Singapore Management University’s Voice Personality Hunt 2015, an emcee talent search involving high profile local judges from the radio and emceeing industries.
A versatile host, Kim is comfortable with a variety of event types and aims to ensure that at every event, she gives her audience a reason sit up and listen. Her regular lifestyle clients include well-known brands such as WingTai Asia (TOPSHOP/TOPMAN, i.t. Singapore), Timberland Singapore and Cycle & Carriage (KIA). No stranger to the world of sports hosting, Kim was a volunteer host under the Singapore Sports Council (SSC) in 2012 for the Singapore National Games. She later revisited her working relationship with the SSC as an official sports commentator for the 2015 ASEAN Para Games. Her formal D&D hosting experience includes hosting for officer commissioning balls under the Singapore Armed Forces.
Kim is a rising talent within the voiceover industry, with projects under her belt ranging from features in local movies (Ken Kwek’s Unlucky Plaza) to film animation projects based in Sweden. Commercially, her voice has been used for recognisable projects such as Lazada’s Great Singapore Sale advertisements – she is also the voice behind River Safari’s mascot on its official app! Her corporate voiceover projects include instructional videos for the government bodies such as the MOE and the LTA.
When she’s not entertaining crowds or amusing radio listeners with her offkilter sense of humour, Kim can be found writing, bopping along to rock and hip-hop or cowering under the sheets after a day spent on too many horror movies and games.

Carmen is a petite and bubbly girl, the girl-next-door that you can hang out with to have a cup of tea with. She loves singing, dancing (especially when nobody’s watching) and writing her own music. Not one to shy away from a good challenge, she loves planning her solo adventures outside of Singapore to experience new cultures. Carmen best enjoys her free time, hanging out with her loved ones and eating good food. Unafraid to laugh at herself, and fully self-aware that she is mistake-prone from time to time, she goes through life with an easy-going attitude, and with an even heartier laugh.
Young, or Mister Young (and Young isn’t even his surname… what kind of weirdo adds a title to their name like that?!) could very well be the type of guy you want take home to meet your parents… until he opens his mouth.
Quirky, flippant, or just plain weird… call it what you want, he’s been bringing his left-of-centre humor to radio for almost 15 years. He’s done everything from morning shows, to graveyard shifts. And the scary part? He’s only just getting started.
He currently wears two hats- drive time DJ & and Assistant Programme Director on Power 98FM.
Mister Young’s no stranger to live hosting as well, having hosted a wide range of events, including road-shows, artist press conferences, as well as year end countdowns. When he’s not thinking about radio, Mister Young juggles being an MMA enthusiast (he throws a mean right uppercut!), a comic book aficionado, a tech gadget freak (iMad!), and a video game junkie.
